MobART is a collection of fine art images and ringtones, available via Short Code, WAP, and website for subscribers to the Cingular and T-Mobile mobile networks. Intended to guide users through a mobile art gallery, MobART contains over 500 images and short text summaries written by art critics and journalists. About Alexis Rockman: Rockman researches and collaborates extensively with specialists in molecular biology, genetics, natural history and medicine. He translates the science into visual language in order to depict the wide-ranging effects of human intervention on animal species, ecosystems, and the natural world.
